The age of globalization requires an educational institution to continuously improve its quality and level up with the rapid development of the interconnected world. Under numerous initiatives, the Study Program of Veterinary at the Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University has been actively expanding its academic undertakings to support many of its vision of becoming a world-class research institution in the veterinary field sciences. As a follow-up towards such commitment, and as an attempt to advance its academic engagement and international collaboration, the Study Program of Veterinary, in partnership with Indonesian Veterinary Medical Association (PDHI), Indonesian Veterinary Faculty Association (AFKH), Indonesian Animal Hospital Association (ARSHI) and Publication Management Centre (PMC), is pleased to launch its first annual international academic conference: The 1st International Conference of Veterinary Science with a theme entitled “Veterinary Science and Technology for One Health, Aquatic and Tropical Disease in Animals.” The 1st ICSV 2020 will be held simultaneously with our 10th anniversary of Study Program of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University.
This conference has been prepare under the spirit of developing multidiscipline and inclusive sciences with a specific design to present academics and stakeholders alike with opportunities to review the phenomenon and contemporary flagship issues on animal and biomedical sciences and other topics closely related to veterinary applied technology and cross-fertilization. These multidisciplinary and inclusive approaches are geared towards virtual discussion forums, academic presentations, and poster sessions involving reputable national and international keynotes and speakers. The rich and diverse possible discussions falling under the issues are expected to produce an inclusive and open environment for participants, practitioners, and researchers to submit and present their works on said issues. The conference is hopeful of commencing the tradition of creating a platform of wide range networkings connecting experts from universities, governments as well as private and public professionals upon which academic novelties and practical solutions could be disseminated.
